Since the large response to Teresa happened under different circumstances as well as in different languages, we are happy to represent some aspects of this diversity through the interdisciplinary nature of this multilingual volume. Most of the contributions are in English, some are in German, and the very last is in Spanish.

In order to produce a homogeneous appearance in terms of formal aspects, we decided to stick to the German citation method in the main text and in the footnotes. Furthermore, there is a short list of acronyms for the titles of Teresa’s writings that are used throughout the entire volume.
