Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Strawberries and bananas are a classic combination that provides gentle sweetness and plenty of energy. Ingredients

1 ½ cups strawberries

1 large or 2 medium bananas

1 vanilla bean

Rinse and hull the strawberries, discarding the tops. Peel the banana and add both fruits to your blender or juicer, along with the vanilla bean. Process until the juice develops a thick, rich texture. The vanilla bean adds a sweet scent along with attractive tiny black flecks.
