Before you start whipping up wonderful and healthy juicing recipes to lose weight, you also need to bear in mind some essential tips if you want the juicing process to be as safe, as healthy and as effective as you like it to be and be truly helpful for your weight loss goal. Here are some of these tips:
1. Determine how long you want to keep juicing for weight loss. Remember that juicing in order to lose weight involves two ways: one is incorporating juicing in your diet or the juicing diet and two is the juice fasting wherein you are replacing your meals with juice meals to lose weight. Do not do this process long-term if you are choosing juice fasting. Juice fasting is only good for a few days as you may lose weight but could deprive your body of other nutrients.
Instead, you can use this juicing process to aid your weight loss diet and this is what can be used for long term. Therefore, if you want to do this long-term, choose to juice for diet assistance only and not for fasting.
2. Consult the doctor before juicing for weight loss. Do not think that just because you want to lose weight, you can go juicing right away. It is important to talk to the doctor first as you may have health issues that could be affected negatively by juicing. For instance, if you have a problem with your blood sugar, juicing may increase your risks especially if you include fruits that are naturally sweet. Consulting your doctor will not only help you know whether you have health conditions to be aware of but will also help you know what juicing ingredients are best for your health condition.
3. Choose organic ingredients. When juicing for weight loss, make sure you are choosing organic ingredients or ingredients that are grown naturally and without the use of pesticides harmful to the body. This is because when juicing, you usually include the skin of most fruits and vegetables and most of the time, the skin has lots of nutrients in them. However, if you choose veggies and fruits that are inorganic and you juice the skin too, the toxins that cling from the skin could enter your body and cause harm.
But if you choose organic ingredients, you are assured that even if you do not skin the ingredients, they are perfectly safe and healthy.
4. Drink the juice right away. If you are juicing to lose weight, it may be good if you drink the juice right away after you have juiced them. This is to prevent oxidization wherein the juice could lose the nutrients that it has. However, if you have prepared too much juice that you cannot consume or if you are too busy to drink the juice right away, just make sure that it is covered well and placed in an airtight container so that its freshness and nutrients will be intact and could still benefit your body and health.
5. Experiment recipes. Juicing for weight loss can be boring at times so as a tip, it pays when you experiment combinations of fruits and vegetables to make your weight loss journey more interesting and less boring. With this, you should know the fruits that can serve as sweeteners and the veggies that contain the nutrients that you need. In other words, it pays when you get to know the right fruits and vegetables to juice for your weight loss goal.
