• The steam release valve might feel a bit wobbly
when switching between Venting and Sealing.
• The program timer will not start until the
machine has come up to pressure.
• All of the pressure needs to be released before
you can remove the lid from the pot.
AIR FRYING PROGRAMS
Air Fry: The most common air frying program,
this setting produces food with a crispy exterior,
such as French fries, chicken wings, potatoes,
breaded cutlets, meatballs, fish and seafood, tofu,
doughnuts, fritters, and more.
Roast: The Roast setting is best for large cuts
of meat.
Broil: Using direct, top-down heating, Broil yields
extremely juicy chicken and beef dishes. You
can place foods for broiling either in the air fryer
basket or on the broil/dehydrating tray, which
brings them closer to the pot’s heating element.
Bake: This setting is ideal for cakes, quick breads,
brownies, and cookies. If baking in the multilevel
air fryer basket, line the interior with parchment
paper for recipes involving loose batter. (You can
also purchase air fryer liners, which have tiny holes
to help the air circulate.) If using a baking dish,
place the rack on the bottom of the inner pot,
then place the dish on the rack in the inner pot.
Leave about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space around all
sides of the dish to allow heat to circulate evenly.
Dehydrate: This program applies low heat over a
long period of time to safely dry out foods. Use it
for preparing fruit leather, jerky, and dried fruits
and vegetables.
CLEANING
Before the first use, remove the inner pot from the
cooker base and wash it with hot water and dish
soap. The inner pot is also dishwasher safe. Wash
the accessories with hot water and dish soap, then
rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
After each use, wash accessories and parts with
hot water and mild dish soap and then air dry, or
place on the top rack of the dishwasher. Never
clean them with harsh detergents, powders, or
scouring pads.
You can coat the air fryer basket and/or
dehydrating tray with nonstick cooking spray
before adding food for easier cleanup.
• Store the sealing ring in a well-ventilated area
to decrease any residual odor. To eliminate
odors, add 1cup (240 ml) water and 1 cup (240
ml) white vinegar to the inner pot and run the
Pressure Cook program for 5–10 minutes, then
quick-release the pressure. You can also use one
sealing ring for sweet dishes and one for savory.
• To remove baked-on grease and food residue
from accessories and the air fryer lid, spray them
with a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar
and wipe clean with a damp cloth. For stubborn
stains, let the mixture sit on the affected area for
several minutes before scrubbing clean.
Inner pot: Wash the inner pot after each use and
be sure that all of the outside surfaces are dry
before placing it in the cooker base. To remove
hard water staining, dampen a sponge with white
vinegar and scrub gently. If there is tough or
burned food residue at the bottom, soak the pot
in hot water for a few hours before cleaning.
Air fryer lid: Let the air fryer lid cool to room
temperature, then clean the heating element
and surrounding area with a damp soft cloth or
sponge. Wipe the exterior clean with a damp soft
cloth or sponge.
Cooker base: Clean the cooker base and control
panel with a barely damp soft cloth or sponge.
Do not rinse or immerse the cooker base in water.
