A Native was being searched due to him possibly assaulting someone the night before. He was nowhere to be found, until they opened up his locker and found him hiding in there.

“Why are you hiding in there?”

“You’re looking for me?”

“Did you expect us to just stop looking for you?”

If he is in the prison, we are going to find him and we know he is here somewhere, because he would not be able to escape from here.

I take it as an admission of guilt with him trying to hide in his locker. Either he was on drugs or he was just plain stupid. You be the judge.
