The Natives are allowed to have a Native Feast once a year. After one of them, a Native assaulted another inmate and took his television, lamp, tennis shoes and some canteen items. The victim finally got up the nerve to report this. Officers checked out the report from the victim and found it to be true. They were both placed in segregation pending further investigation.

When the predator’s cell was being packed up, a brown address book was found. It identified himself as a member of the “Native Mob” and displayed a Native Mob symbol on it. It identified 46 other convicts, presumably affiliated with the mob. They were listed under headings of “IN” and “OUT,” probably whether they were incarcerated or not at the time. Their ranks were listed as A through F.
