In a rare event, an inmate yelled down from gallery three that the inmate in the cell next to him had a razor hidden in a roll of toilet paper. This is rare because if you are going to inform on someone, you generally would not do it so overtly.

A couple of officers went up to check things out. The informant told them the Native in the cell next to him had been drinking hooch all day and had talked about the razor and where he had it hidden.

Once the unit had finished feeding the inmates their supper, officers removed the inmate from his cell, searched it and found the razor exactly where the guy had said it was hidden.

Note: If you hide something and then broadcast where you put it, it technically is no longer hidden. Remember that if you ever wind up in prison and don’t want anyone to know where you hid something. It also helps if you do not make and drink any of that mind altering and lip loosening fluid.
