Consistently Cited Witnesses in Revelation
ОглавлениеThe manuscript tradition for the Book of Revelation differs greatly from that of the other New Testament writings.9 One peculiar characteristic is the division of the Byzantine Majority text into two distinct textual traditions:
A | represents the large number of manuscripts with the commentary on Revelation by Andreas of Caesarea. |
K | represents the Koine tradition proper. |
| represents the agreement of A and K. |
Consistently cited witnesses
18, 24, 43, 47, 85, 98, 115;
ℵ (01), A (02), C (04), P (025), 046, 051, 0163, 0169, 0207, 0229;
1006, 1611, 1841, 1854, 2030, 2050, 2053, 2062, 2329, 2344, 2351, 2377.
The minuscules 2344 and 2377 frequently cannot be cited due to their poor state of preservation, consequently the witness of these manuscripts cannot be inferred from silence.
