История:

Lily had just moved to a new town. She was nervous because she didn’t know anyone at her new school. On her first day, she felt a little lonely, but she knew she had to try and make new friends.

At lunchtime, Lily sat by herself at a table. She looked around and saw a group of girls laughing and talking. They seemed to be having a lot of fun. Lily wanted to join them, but she wasn’t sure what to say.

Suddenly, one of the girls, Emma, smiled and waved at Lily. «Hi, I’m Emma! Do you want to sit with us?» she asked. Lily felt a little shy, but she smiled back. «Yes, thank you!» she said.

The girls started talking, and Lily quickly realized that they had a lot in common. They all liked reading books, playing games, and drawing. They talked about their favorite books and shared funny stories. Lily was happy to have found some new friends so quickly.

By the end of the day, Lily felt much better. She had made three new friends: Emma, Sarah, and Mia. «I’m so glad I came to school today,» Lily thought. «I can’t wait to see my new friends tomorrow!»
