abilities. This love and obsession for himself and his riches was a venomous concoction that was lethal in its sting, because it drove the prince into the jaws of the abyss being condemned with the uncircumcised. Circumcision is the surgical removing of the foreskin, but its purpose runs much deeper because it is a blood covenant between Abba Father and His people (Genesis 17; Deuteronomy 10:16; Jeremiah 4:4). It identifies Israel as belonging to Abba Father and a command that He alone they should honor and serve. The act of circumcision is therefore a unique contract between the LORD and the house of Israel.

To be called uncircumcised, meant that a person had no covenant with GOD; neither in the ceremonial rite of circumcision nor the state of one’s heart. In Ezekiel 28:10, the LORD used “uncircumcised,” thereby adding this prince to the list of unrighteous leaders. The prince of Tyrus and his famous city would one day be utterly defeated and the renown of this transshipment port would never rise to its former glory (for further reading see Isaiah chapter 23). Zechariah 9:2b-4 applying the NASB states: “Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise. For Tyre built for herself a fortress and piled up silver like dust, and gold like the mire of the streets. Behold the Lord will dispossess her and cast her wealth into the sea; and she will be consumed with fire.” Tyre the city state was influenced by an unseen evil presence and ruler named the king of Tyrus, which is none other than Satan himself.

“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in
