cursed are you more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you will go, and dust you will eat all the days of your life.” That which creeps in Genesis 1:26 also refers to the curse of this fallen Cherub, which is the serpent being on his belly in Genesis 3:14. Mankind was given authority over all the earth, and this also includes the fallen Cherub but nevertheless, he has been able to manipulate humans through ignorance and fear and continues to do so. His mind games must be resisted and the only way that this can be accomplished is by having fellowship with God (James 4:7-17). That which this fallen one offers is not his to give in the first place, neither is it a lasting reality. Mankind continues to be conned by Satan, whose true goal is to separate us from the love of God and our heavenly home. Everlasting torment was never the Lord’s desire for people, but for the devil and his angels (Mathew 25:41).

A lamentation was made for the devil, the king of Tyrus because he would never again grace the presence of Almighty GOD as a worshiper, but as an accuser of the Saints. His precious stones and brightness was now transformed to charcoal because he rebelled. Although the Cherubim (plural) are associated with worship, they are also created to be protectors. The command given to Moses by the LORD recorded in Exodus 25:18-22 applying the NKJV states: “And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat. Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat. And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another, the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat. You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel” (see also 37:6-9). The teachings of the LORD were placed in the ark, which was then covered by the mercy seat. On top of the mercy seat were replicas of the Cherubim; they were the protectors or guards, who watched over the Word of God, ready to be dispatched to fulfill its utterance on a moment’s notice on the behalf of mankind.
