Quinoa Stir Fry

This dish has oriental roots, and it’s packed with plenty of good-for-you veggies. In addition, this dish is quick and easy to make, and it doesn’t take more than 30 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

2 cup of dry quinoa

Four skinless chicken breasts

2 large carrots

Green onions

Red onions

Cilantro

Soy sauce

½ of a red and green bell pepper

Butter

Directions:

Step one: The first step for making this dish to cook the quinoa. In a pot, add 2 cups of quinoa with four cups of water. Next, add salt and pepper to the water. Once most of the water evaporates, put a lid on the pot and turn down the heat to medium/ low.

Step two: Gather the chicken, and then make sure to wash it thoroughly. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. In a skillet or grill, cook the chicken thoroughly.

Step three: Cut all of your vegetables into small pieces. In a skillet, add the butter and onions together; cook them until the onion is golden brown. Once the onion is golden, you need to add the rest of the vegetables into the skillet except the cilantro. Add the soy sauce, and stir the mixture together. Once you add the soy sauce, add the chicken and quinoa. Fold the stir fry over until the Ingredients
