Applying the Finish
ОглавлениеBefore applying the finish, wipe the bowl with mineral spirits to reveal the presence of glue spots. These typically appear either as silvery lines between rings or as small shiny areas on the bowl surface. Mark these with chalk or a white pencil so you can easily find them once the mineral spirits dries. Sand them off with the finest grit that will do the job, usually 220-grit. If that’s not sufficient, try 150-grit, then re-sand with 220-grit to restore the surface.
