My First Job – Моя первая работа
ОглавлениеIt is summer, and Alex is looking for his first job. He is excited but a little nervous. “I want to earn my own money and learn new things,” he thinks. Alex decides to look for a job at the local grocery store.
He goes to the store with his mom and asks to speak to the manager. The manager is very friendly and says, “Hello, how can I help you?” Alex replies, “Hi, I’m Alex. I’m looking for my first job. Do you need any help?”
The manager smiles and says, “We need someone to help with packing groceries and cleaning the store. Would you like to try it?” Alex says, “Yes, I would love to!” The manager gives him a small uniform and shows him where the supplies are.
Alex’s first task is to pack groceries for customers. He takes the items from the conveyor belt and puts them in bags. “Thank you!” says the customer. Alex smiles and says, “You’re welcome!”
After packing groceries, Alex helps clean the store. He sweeps the floor and arranges the products on the shelves. The manager checks his work and says, “Good job, Alex. You’re doing great!”
At the end of his first day, Alex is tired but happy. “I learned a lot today,” he says. The manager gives him his first paycheck. Alex is excited. “This is my first money earned from a job!” he says with a big smile. He thanks the manager and promises to work hard again tomorrow.
