Going to the Doctor – Поездка к врачу
ОглавлениеIt is a sunny morning, and Lucy is getting ready for her check-up at the doctor’s office. Her mom tells her, “Today, we are going to the doctor for your regular check-up. Don’t worry, it will be quick and easy.”
Lucy feels a little nervous. She has never been to the doctor without her dad before. But her mom reassures her, “Everything will be fine. The doctor will check your health, and then we can go to the park afterward!”
When they arrive at the doctor’s office, Lucy sees a lot of people waiting in the waiting room. There are some children playing with toys, and some adults are reading magazines. Lucy and her mom sit down and wait for their turn.
After a few minutes, the nurse calls Lucy’s name. “Lucy, it’s your turn,” the nurse says kindly. Lucy gets up, and her mom follows her. The nurse leads them into a small room and asks Lucy to sit on the table. “Please take off your jacket,” the nurse says. Lucy does as she is told.
The doctor enters the room and smiles. “Hello, Lucy! How are you today?” he asks. “I’m fine, thank you,” Lucy replies. The doctor checks her height and weight, listens to her heartbeat with a stethoscope, and checks her eyes and ears. Lucy feels a little nervous, but the doctor is very gentle and kind.
After the check-up, the doctor tells Lucy, “You are very healthy, Lucy! Keep eating healthy food, and don’t forget to exercise.” Lucy smiles. She is happy to hear that she is healthy.
On the way out, Lucy thanks the nurse and doctor. “Thank you for helping me,” she says. “You’re welcome!” they both reply.
Lucy and her mom leave the doctor’s office. Lucy feels relieved. She was a little nervous, but everything went well. Now, it’s time to go to the park, just like her mom promised.
