The “European Green Deal”41, the first project of the European Commission under the presidency of Ursula von der Leyen, was presented on 11 December 2019. It’s a new growth strategy setting out how to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, by boosting the economy, improving people’s health and quality of life and caring for nature. This deal shows how important is energetic transition for the European Commission in order to preserve the climate.
