Knowledge and wisdom
ОглавлениеThe difference between knowing something and having gained insight into something is huge. Knowing indicates that we know something because we have observed it. But to gain insight into something we need to understand context and root cause. What we know is the basis of our knowledge, while wisdom is the basis of the insights we have gained.
Knowledge is an orderly accumulation of information we have come to know over time. Knowledge is a result of the limitations of our mind, and the sciences have arisen from knowledge.
Knowledge and sciences originated from ignorance and therefore will never be able to provide the final answers to our questions.
This means that knowledge developed because of a compulsion to learn the truth, which is not a bad thing – in fact, it is very good. But when we put all our faith in knowledge and science and use this as the exclusive basis for our life, the consequences will not be good. It would mean that we restrict our perception to that which is already known, and disregard and ignore everything else that exists but is not yet known to us. Knowledge is the accumulation of information. In other words, knowledge is dead information. Dead because it needs us to make it come to life. Knowledge is dependent on scientists and users and has no life of its own.
How is something dead supposed to explain life!?
Anyone can gain knowledge; you can learn it at school, at university. Knowledge is transferable and only comes to life when someone uses it. Knowledge is useless when we do not have it or when we cannot utilize it. We could own the best car in the world, but if we do not know how to drive, it will be useless to us.
What about wisdom?
Wisdom is living information that has a life of its own, independent of us humans. Wisdom is living truth. It exists outside of time and space and is valid for all eternity. Knowledge comes out of the human mind, but wisdom comes from divine consciousness. Knowledge is an attempt to explain the unknown, since the mind knows and processes things only after they have happened. The heart senses what is about to happen directly and in advance and requires no instruments, but communicates by feelings and emotions. So we are able to perceive the living truth primarily through feelings and emotions. We all have this ability; we all have this access to wisdom. The living truth is present inside of each human being and can and wants to be utilized. We tend to stand in our own way by handing over guidance to our mind, and describe everything it cannot explain to us as nonsense, mumbo-jumbo or the placebo effect.
Learned people and scientists search for the truth and would like to serve humankind. We should value them and their work and be grateful for their efforts. But they will never be able to provide the final answers to our questions. Mankind can only find these answers within itself and in its own heart, where wisdom is waiting longingly to be rediscovered.
We can only find the truth when we stop inventing it. With each insight, we are being touched by God.
